As budget motels go, this one was quite nice. My room was clean and quiet, the bed was quite comfortable, and the A/C worked well and wasn't as noisy as most. In other words, I had no complaints (after check-in, see below), which might not seem like much but actually is. The coffee was fine, for motel coffee that is. The breakfast was typical, which is to say sparse, but at least there were bananas.

The location was perfect! Just minutes from downtown Asheville, yet close to beautiful parks and terrific restaurants. This budget motel was clean and quiet, and that front desk staff couldn't have been more helpful.

I stayed one night, and chose not to extend. Im a travel nurse, and travel alone often so safety is important for me. This facility is away from the road, tucked away and didnt feel safe to me. Very easy to miss your turn. The room safety latch was non existent, and you could literally see outside through the latch. Not okay during cold winter months, not to mention the fact anyone could kick the door in if they wanted to. Just know its not secured at all. This hotel prompted me to order safety door locks for when I travel. They also took a deposit. Not worth it in my opinion, at all.
